What is the Open-Source Bible Trilogy?

The F.O.G Bible Project began with creating a new Lexicon to power a new Bible. But it quickly became apparent that one translation wouldn’t do as both a formal equivalence Study Bible, a Reader’s Bible and even a Kids version of the whole Bible was needed to highlight all the nuances of the text. So the trilogy was born, which is based on open-source principles by allowing other scholars to publicly peer review the source material for the benefit of all to see. This project is also the first to encourage non-academics to try translating their favorite verses using a simple system anyone can learn to provide even more possible avenues of inspiration that may get incorporated into the official text.
