Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

¹Since the Messiah suffered physical pain for us, arm yourselves with the same mindset. When someone suffers physically for doing what’s right, they’ve broken free from sin’s grip.ᵃ
