The F.O.G Bible Project Updates

A lot has changed on this website in three years.

After meeting my Maker I simply had to do something, and to tell as many people as possible that God was real so I did what I knew to do – start a website. It started off as a blog to stir people up to actually start believing again that He’s returning very soon, and to be ready. A classic example is this letter titled, “I do not know you.”

But as I kept this website going I realized I wanted it to be more than just an informational blog. I wanted it to be a comprehensive Biblical resource for everything I was learning afresh about Scripture.

And that is where we are today with the following achieved.

• All 66 books of the Bible with a commentary overview and video
• All 1,189 chapters of the Bible with a commentary overview (with videos being added daily)
• All 31,102 verses of the Bible in 7 different translations (with a commentary planned)
• All 14,197 Hebrew and Aramaic words that make up our Bibles indexed. The 5,523 Greek words were fully ‘completed’ in 2025 and Hebrew-Aramaic is expected to be ‘completed’ by mid 2026.

I write ‘completed’ because this is an ongoing work which is never fully done as scholars and archaeologists alike are discovering new things, and even manuscripts sometimes that help us see even more beauty in God’s Word. And when this happens an entry may need updating.

So this is what up to 18 hour days of focused work has allowed me to complete, but there is still a lot more work to be done. Because as great as written articles are, we live in a video first world right now, and I’m painfully aware of all the people who would never read an article about the Bible, but would watch a 7-minute video.

Now video has never been my personal strong suit as my background is in something called SEO (search engine optimization) which was until recently – written articles driven. AI however has changed all that and flipped my whole industry on its head, which God of course knew would happen, and is another reason He got me to change direction.

So for a long time now after my coffee with Jesus I was looking for a process when it comes to video that brings the Biblical text to life. I have been so inspired by the likes of the Bible Project and what they do, and wanted to add another source of down-to-earth Biblical scholarship for people to enjoy.

So I’m delighted to announce that as of the end of September 2025, the YouTube channel has begun in full force. I am personally committing to add one video per day (except Sundays) and currently we’re working through the book of Matthew. The book of Philippians is already completed, so make sure to have a look and complete those Bible Challenges and Quizzes.

But there’s still a challenge

And I really need your help

At the moment there are nearly 50,000 articles on this website and many of them will benefit from having at least one explainer video to make the text come alive. And some may require 2-3 videos each.

At one video per day uploaded that’s 137 years to complete. Each of these videos has the opportunity to reach millions of people around the world, especially some of the big questions and iconic or even puzzling Bible verses people encounter in the Bible. So the reach and impact of all this is immense if you consistently do the work daily, but that timeframe I’m sure you will agree is far too slow.

So this is where I need your help.

Because 99% of people don’t currently sign up to the website to become a member they see ads. I do hope my dear reader that you are not one of them as you’re reading this and you are logged in. But for those 99% that are just browsing – the ads on this website do generate a little revenue for keeping the lights on so to speak.

It only starts to add up and compound though when more people share. So if you are one of the few that has already shared this website on social media, I would like to say a heartfelt thank you, and if you never have shared it really does mean a lot if you could take a minute to do so below.
